Psalm 66:2 “Sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious.”
We show glory to God when we do what we were created to do and we were created to bring Him pleasure. So how do we bring Him pleasure? We bring Him pleasure by obeying Him and telling others about who He is and what He has done for us! It is really as simple as that. Our obedience lets Him know that we love Him and telling others who He is just tells Him that we are grateful and thankful for all He has done for us! Telling others about Jesus is by far the biggest most powerful privilege we will ever have! We may step out of our comfort zone to make an effort to share His love but God is in the business of arranging divine appoints. We seldom ever realize when they occur. I can recall several times when people have come and thanked me for something I’ve said or done that I don’t even remember. I had made an impression on them and had no idea that I had any kind of impact whatsoever. Those are Godcidences for sure. Often when I am trying to be obedient and working at making an impact nothing usually ever comes of it which says something right there. When God is involved it doesn’t take much effort on our part, just a willingness to be used by Him. Blessed be the name of the Lord who reigns on high and is the lover of our souls!

Dear Lord,
You are the lover of our souls! You are an all-consuming fire! No one in all creation is like You! You are our Creator, our Redeemer and our Friend! We can never repay You for all that You’ve done for us but we humbly proclaim You as our King of Kings and our Lord of Lords. We didn’t deserve it but You delivered us anyway! We can’t fathom the depths of Your love, it never gives up! We are unable to understand Your gift of righteousness. It is unthinkable! We are so blessed! No one else can fill the void that we were created with but You, so please forgive us when our hearts yearn for things that aren’t necessary or that will hurt us. Don’t give us over to those desires and cravings. Keep after us, grab our attention and draw us back to You. All praise and honor are Yours now and forever more!
In Jesus Name,
Amen
